Summer hacks first hack day is complete!

We are all super excited that you came out to our first-ever Charlestonhacks event!

Thank you, everyone, for attending and spending your Monday evening with us, hacking and getting to know each other. A big thanks to the Charleston Digital Corridor for hosting. Megan and Ernest were a huge part of making the event happen. Also, a big thanks to Mike from CI&T for being a sponsor and supporting us with their amazing team, and to Paul from Virtual America for his support and sponsorship. A very big shoutout to the organizers and supporters of the hackathon: Dave from Querri, Will from g/d/n/a, and Lancie from the College of Charleston. They were so incredibly helpful last night, and we greatly appreciate you taking time out to help with the event. Last but not least, I want to thank Russell Sng from Inworld for his awesome Hackathon tips and tricks presentation and always making himself available to our community.

If you missed our event last night or want to join up again to compete and build something new and cool, don't worry, we have another Summer hack night on June 21st. And definitely don't forget to return on June 28th for the Happy Hour awards event on the rooftop!

So now what?

Don't worry, Devpost makes it super easy to submit your project and our community is here to help! You and your team can continue to work on your project for the next 5 days. You will be submitting a 3-5 minute video, a written project description, and will share your GitHub repo (if applicable). The deadline is Sunday, June 18th, so don't miss it if you would like to be considered for judging. You may submit early as well if you are one of those types.

If you have any questions about the hackathon, please post them on our Discord:  https://discord.gg/AKZZVvUa

Take care and have a great week, everyone!
